We are proud to have been the first company in Sri Lanka to obtain the official manual license for operations at the Kelawarapitiya Dump Yard — a facility authorized for regulated waste destruction. While others may now operate under similar licenses, we pioneered this process, setting the standards for compliance, documentation, and operational excellence.
To this day, we are responsible for handling over 90% of all official destruction operations conducted under the Sri Lanka Customs, operating with full transparency and legal adherence.
Our capability was globally recognized during the massive MSC Daniela operation. On April 14, 2017, following a fire incident in Singapore, the MSC Daniela container vessel docked in Sri Lanka. Over 5,000 damaged containers were offloaded, and under the direct supervision of Sri Lanka Customs, and in partnership with GAC Shipping, MSC Shipping, and Hemas Logistics, we handled the sorting, reworking, re-exporting, and certified destruction over a 2-year period.
